Gökçe Kurt is an Associate Professor in the English Language Teaching (ELT) department at Marmara University in İstanbul, Türkiye. Her research interests include technology integration in ELT and pre- and -in-service teacher education. She has published several articles and chapters on various topics, including flipped classroom approach, student engagement, and writing feedback. She offers courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.

AI-enhanced Corpus-based Language Pedagogy in Grammar and Vocabulary Teaching
The integration of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) into corpus-based pedagogy is transforming vocabulary and grammar instruction by providing data-driven insights into language use. While corpus tools offer authentic linguistic input for analysis, their complexity has hindered widespread classroom implementation. GenAI enhances corpus-based instruction by simplifying data access, generating instructional materials, and facilitating learner engagement. This session explores practical applications of AI-integrated corpus-based pedagogy, demonstrating its potential to make data-driven language teaching more accessible and effective. Implications for classroom practice and teacher development will be discussed.
