Assoc. Prof. Tuncer Can is currently teaching at İstanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Hasan Ali Yücel Faculty of Education, ELT Department where he copmpleted MA in 2004 and PhD in 2011. In 2005, earning a Fulbright Scholarship spent a year at Syracuse University, NY, USA teaching Turkish via videoconferencing. Dr. Can has taken part in ten EU Erasmus+ Projects, related to immersive environments, teacher training and foreign language learning (1) CAMELOT, (2) YouRNI, (3) TABLIO, (4) GUINEVERE, (5) ARTICULAN, (6) YouALLs, (7) KEY SKILLS, (8) STREAMS, (9) SET4INCLUSION and (10) AI-ENABLED. Dr. Can has also edited and co-authored the “Less is More English Coursebook Series”, “Integrated Skills in English: Full Circle Series”, “Swifts English Coursebook Series” and “Oysters English Series” from Press Glocal. Dr. Can led teams to create 3 APPs to learn English; ApiLingua and Yeybi from Girift Technologies and the DİYALEKT APP and Platform for the Turkish Ministry of National Education. He is the director of IUC Continuing Education Center.”
